How to get to Palmeral Villas
From Alicante International Airport we take the A7 motorway heading south west towards the regional capital - Murcia. From here we head northwest on the N301 - followed by the N344, which takes us directly to Jumilla.
Journey time from the airport has been about one hour.
With a population of over 20,000 Jumilla is one of the larger towns in the region. Long famed for its wine, there are over 50 wine producers in the locality. Situated in a beautiful green valley, Jumilla is an important agricultural centre and, as well as vineyards there are fruit orchards aplenty.
Golfers will be pleased to know that there is an 18-hole golf course close to Murcia town and near to Alicante is Alenda Golf. A 9-hole Astroturf putting green will be amongst the facilities available for homeowners and their guests at Palmeral Villas.
Interesting day trips include Alicante with its wealth of shopping facilities, marina and cultural attractions, the centuries old port town of Cartagena and the regional capital - Murcia - whose facilities include a casino. Fast drivers will reach the beaches, restaurant and nightlife of Santa Pola, Guardamar, La Manga and Torrevieja in less than an hour.
A flat fertile valley with views to the mountains and beside a charming hamlet is the location for the Palmeral Villas. The historic country town of Jumilla is a few minutes drive away. An ancient castle overlooks Jumilla, which has every facility for a comfortable lifestyle - shops, supermarkets, banks, medical centre, municipal sports centre, museum, bars and restaurants.
Pine clad hills such as the Monte de Santa Ana, Sierra El Carche and Sierra del Buey form the backdrop and are the site for stalagmites, stalactites, fossils, pre-historic cave paintings and roman remains. The pine forests are home to hares, rabbits and foxes whilst peregrine falcons, partridges and occasionally eagles can be seen in the clear blue skies.
Prime Property - Lots to do and see - Plus an enviable "Real Spain" Location.
